Girlguiding Ulster plans to replace volunteers with restructuring thanks to a $77,700 grant. Rainbows Girlguiding Ulster Girls received funding from the Dormant Accounts Fund Northern Ireland.
Claire Flowers, CEO of Girlguiding Ulster, said the Dormant Accounts Fund grant will provide them with significant financial support. This will help them provide more opportunities for more than 7,500 young women in Northern Ireland.
This amount will help us consult with volunteers on new and expanded roles. It will also facilitate the training and development of young leaders who can hold management positions. In addition, this money will help us implement restructuring and succession plans for the 515 Girlguiding, Brownie and Rainbow units in Northern Ireland.
