NSUS Limited, a gaming company operating under the name GGPoker.co.uk, was fined $738,763 or £760,737 by the Gambling Commission after an investigation revealed multiple AML and social responsibility deficiencies. These included violations of self-exclusion rules.

GGPoker received an official warning from the poker commission over their inefficiencies.
The company fell short on social responsibility by failing to identify or contact customers at risk of gambling harm. In addition, the company sent marketing emails to 125 customers who had excluded themselves.
Regulators found that the company’s anti-money laundering practices were lacking. In particular, they found that the company lacked effective policies, procedures and controls to mitigate money laundering and terrorist financing risks. In addition, insufficient risk assessments were conducted for these high-risk regions.
GGPoker operates an international poker room; it launched one this month in Ontario, Canada, near the World Series of Poker. The operator has a Type 3 gaming license from the Malta Gaming Authority.
